Community Commitment
Our commitment runs deeper than just great banking services. We’re proud to serve throughout the beautiful regions of Ohio and West Virginia.
Community. Caring. Commitment. At Main Street Bank, we’re not only committed to serving our communities through our work with customers and businesses in our branches, but with gifts of time and resources throughout the areas where we live and work. Our tradition of volunteerism is long standing and we’re proud of our employees who share their time and talent with the many worthwhile causes in our communities. Our team volunteers countless hours to over forty charitable organizations in our region.
And what a wonderful region it is. We are proud to serve eight great regions in Ohio with nineteen branch offices.
Wooster, the home of our headquarters and where we began. We have three offices in Wooster, which has been listed as a Top 10 Micropolitan Area since 2006. Business Journal declared Wooster Ohio’s Best Hometown and U.S. Dreamtown. The county seat of Wayne County, Wooster is not only the home of Main Street Bank but home to many national businesses and the nation’s largest research facility dedicated to agricultural biosciences.
Main Street Bank came to Millersburg in 1964 to open our second office. The village, located in the heart of Amish Country, is beautifully historic with many small businesses that make the community thrive.
Known as a “Small Town with a Big Heart,” Rittman is located in northern Wayne County and became home to a Main Street Bank branch in 1972. In 1897, salt was discovered in Rittman and salt has been produced here since.
Hometown atmosphere with metropolitan style is what you’ll find in Ashland, the county seat of Ashland County. Known as “The World Headquarters of Nice People,” Ashland is also the home of Balloonfest, as well as two branches of Main Street Bank.
Located in the rolling farmland of Wayne County, sits Creston, which was established in 1870 as a bustling community on the Trolley Line from Cleveland to Wooster. Now, Creston is home to a Main Street Bank branch.
Lodi may be the oldest settlement in Medina County but it’s another town that Main Street Bank calls home. Lodi is known for its inviting small town atmosphere and sprawling country homes, horse farms and sweet corn fields. It’s also known for the friendliness of its residents and its charming community festivals, including the Annual Sweetcorn Festival.
Located in the heart of the Canton-Massillon Metropolitan area, North Canton is a positive environment for businesses—from manufacturing businesses to small business startups, opportunities abound in North Canton. In 1998, we opened a branch there and now happily count it among our many homes in beautiful Ohio.
Fredericksburg is nestled in southeast Wayne County. The area is known for a vibrant Amish community and an impressive Fourth of July parade.
Situated between Columbiana and Salem, Washingtonville is a thriving farm community where each resident takes a sense of pride in caring for one another. This small but mighty location is Main Street Bank' newest branch and has become a staple of financial service in the area.
