Community Commitment
At Main Street Bank, our commitment goes far beyond providing exceptional banking services. We’re deeply rooted in the vibrant and diverse communities of Ohio and West Virginia.
Community. Caring. Commitment.
Our mission is not just about serving customers and businesses in our branches but also about investing time and resources into the areas we proudly call home. We believe in giving back, and our tradition of volunteerism reflects that belief. Our employees dedicate countless hours to supporting over 40 charitable organizations, embodying our core values of service and care.
With 19 branch offices across two states, we’re honored to be a part of such a rich and thriving region. Below, we’ve highlighted the communities we serve, each with its own unique charm and story:
Ohio Branches
Wooster
Wooster is where it all began and remains home to our headquarters. Known as a Top 10 Micropolitan Area since 2006, Wooster has earned accolades such as “Ohio’s Best Hometown” and “U.S. Dreamtown.” As the county seat of Wayne County, Wooster is not only home to Main Street Bank but also a hub for national businesses and the nation’s largest agricultural biosciences research facility.
Millersburg
We opened our second branch here in 1964. Nestled in the heart of Amish Country, this historic village is filled with thriving small businesses that capture the spirit of community.
Rittman
Affectionately called a “Small Town with a Big Heart,” Rittman joined the Main Street Bank family in 1972. Known for its salt production, Rittman has a rich history dating back to 1897.
Ashland
As the county seat of Ashland County, this city is known as “The World Headquarters of Nice People.” Home to the beloved Balloonfest and two Main Street Bank branches, Ashland perfectly blends a welcoming atmosphere with a metropolitan style.
Creston
Located in Wayne County’s picturesque farmland, Creston was established in 1870 and once thrived as a stop along the Cleveland-to-Wooster Trolley Line. Today, Creston’s charm continues, with a Main Street Bank branch serving the community.
Lodi
The oldest settlement in Medina County, Lodi is known for its friendly residents, charming festivals, and sprawling country landscapes. From horse farms to sweet corn fields, Lodi exemplifies small-town charm.
North Canton
Located in the heart of the Canton-Massillon Metropolitan Area, North Canton offers endless opportunities for businesses and families. Our branch, opened in 1998, is proud to serve this thriving community.
Fredericksburg
This quaint village in southeastern Wayne County is home to a vibrant Amish community and is best known for its impressive Fourth of July parade.
Washingtonville
Situated between Columbiana and Salem, Washingtonville is a close-knit farming community where residents take pride in supporting one another. Our branch here has become a cornerstone of financial service in the area.
Dalton
Located on the eastern edge of Wayne County, Dalton is part of the Wayne County Rails to Trails system and serves as the starting point for the Sippo Valley Trail. This charming village offers natural beauty and a welcoming community.
Carrollton
Carrollton combines picturesque landscapes, outdoor activities, and warm hospitality. From festive parades to lively celebrations, Carrollton’s spirit is unmatched.
Toronto
Known as the “Gem of a City,” Toronto is located along the Ohio River in eastern Jefferson County. This community thrives on its industrial diversity and welcoming charm.
West Virginia Branches
Wheeling
As West Virginia’s first state capital during the Civil War, Wheeling is steeped in history and architectural beauty. With attractions like Oglebay and events like the Main Street Bank Christmas Parade, Wheeling is a must-visit destination.
Wellsburg
Wellsburg, the county seat of Brooke County, boasts a rich history and hosts the annual Applefest, celebrating the local apple industry. Fun fact: Wellsburg was home to the first glass factory in West Virginia!
Moundsville
This small town is packed with historic charm and offers year-round festivals and attractions. Moundsville’s warm community spirit makes it a delightful place to visit and live.
We’re honored to serve these remarkable communities, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to making a positive impact where we live, work, and grow together. Thank you for allowing Main Street Bank to be a part of your story.
